great place to live? no no no. there are better small towns than casa grande to live in. my dad works for the arizona bomb squad and i dont know how many times hes been called down there for meth labs and crap like that. i will give them kudos for trying to make it nicer by building more homes and plazas (and thats one plus, the new homes are cheaper), but there arent that many big jobs so you would have to commute either 45-60 minutes to Tucson, or 45-60 minutes to Southern Phoenix area. or you might already have a job waiting for you which is good. if you like the cooler weather from colorado though, im sorry, but casa grande, is the opposite, hot hot hot, just like phoenix and tucson. you will be fine though, most people who move to central/southern arizona end up loving it.
and that girl who talks about valley fever, i wouldnt doubt that because there are a lot of farms around casa grande.

Casa Grande is not a good place to live if you are a penguin. Seriously though, the question is a bit vague, because 'a good place to live" depends on a lot of variables. As small cities go, its a nice one. Plenty of shopping & activities, and conveniently located about an hour from Phoenix OR Tucson has made Casa Grande a very popular community. Even the growth just since the 80s has been amazing, so an awful lot of people think its a great place to live.

Not really, and the only reason I say that is because Casa Grande has the something in the dirt that infects people with Valley fever. My mom used to work at the hospital down there and unfortunately contracted it. We did some studies and found that Casa Grande has the highest Valley Fever rate in the country. Just something to think about.

It just depends on who you are. It's hot and kind of small. It's only about an hour from Phoenix so that leaves plenty to do. If you like the cold don't go there. If you like living in the city try one in the metro phoenix area.
