Find a greenhouse supply company in your area (you may have to travel a bit) and make sure they sell retail as well as wholesale. They will set you up with everything you need to get up and running. Usually they have manuals on hydroponics too but if they don't you can order them at Border's Books or another book store.

Note: Depending on which state you live GH suppliers are required to report suspicious purchases to the authorities.

Additional note: Talking about the authorities after the raid so many places and confiscate so much stuff you could go to a Sheriff's auction and buy it cheap.

Hydroponics is a fast emerging method to grow plants indoors. Search the internet for hydroponics suppliers and research how to grow plants in your area of interest. I have seen this equipment at shows and it isn't cheap and may be a bit expensive to run what with grow lites and water pumps and the liquid fertilizer components. Now, don't try growing anything illegal because law enforcement tracks who buys and uses this stuff. They just busted a whole bunch of pot growers doing this in private houses in California.

well make sure you have a safe clean water supply and a good heating system and a building to keep the environment constant.dont use chlorinated water because it can poinson the plants.you can add a filter to your chlorinated water supply but you will have to change the filter regularly. also you need the correct fertilizer to feed plant grown hydroponically.also make sure you use a galvanized tank and paint it inside and out with a paint that will keep rust from forming. i would paint the inside with 2 coats and he outside with 3. also check the corners and welds for leaks.everywhere there is a bend in the metal apply waterproof caulking however you can purchase fiberglass tanks but metal is cheaper at some places.i like the idea of plasitic tanks because when you prepare them for the plumbing it is easier to make a hole for piping you need a mixing tank for adding any kind of plant food and read how much to mix. all plant food can burn the roots if too strong and if too weak it will not help your garden.
