The easiest way to make something a ring tone is to just record it with your voice recorder on your phone and have that be the ring tone but if you want absolute best quality I believe there is a plug that you can put into your computer to DL it to your phone. This can be purchased at CompUSA. Whether or not it works with the V3 I am not sure, but that will at least give you an idea of what to look for.

Yes. If you have the Motorola phone software for your computer. You can take any song, voice recording or ring tone that is on your computer or from a CD and manipulate it to put it on the phone.

Yes i think you can if it is on a computer.I suggest buying Motorola phone tools it is about 15 dollars it will allow you to send pictures and data and sounds to your phone from your computer it comes with a cable to attach to your phone

Yeah, either get the pc-cable for your V3 or use bluetooth which means you'll have to buy a bluetooth usb adapter for your pc. Still i got one for my V547 for around $15, Try E-bay
