I've been there. You can do it, but it's NOT easy. I wound up doing it because I had children, and children are big-time "morning people." You just need to start getting up early, and going to bed early. Make it the exact same time every day. Force yourself to go to bed no later than 10:00pm. You will have trouble falling asleep at that time for a while, but keep it up. No TV in the bedroom. Just lights out. Then set your alarm and get up at a chosen time. (Maybe 7:00am.) Do this every single day. It'll REALLY suck at first, but after a couple of months, you'll find that you actually like having extra time in your day. To me, sleeping past 8:00 seems like I've wasted time

Actually, yes; but it requires application of your willpower. If you WANT to get up in the mornings, you'll find it easier as you keep trying. First, TURN OFF THE TV at 8:00. Don't watch tv or play video games or surf the internet. Read a book, or solve a sudoku, or get some laundry folded. Second, don't drink any caffeine after that same 8:00 p.m. Have a cup of hot decaf tea as part of your going to bed ritual. Get yourself in bed by 11:00 pm for the first week or so. Gradually work your way to a 10:00 pm bedtime. Set your alarm when you intend to get up, and GET UP when it rings. No snooze button - it's the crutch of the lazy person. Brush your teeth - nothing like a mouthful of mint to wake you up. Get a shower. Not a long, lazy, hot shower, but a quick, businesslike shower at a temperature that's warm enough to keep you from having a heart attack, but not so hot that it puts you back to sleep. Eat breakfast. If you can't face the idea of food in the morning, try an apple or a homemade fruit smoothie. Even last night's leftovers. And then jump right into your day. Be sure to eat regularly, and get plenty of water. Also , Vitamin A is shown to affect our internal body clocks. Make sure you are eating a bright orange or yellow vegetable or fruit every other day, or take a daily multivitamin supplement.

it's no easy way to answer this question naturally some people are just day people while others are night owls. My husband stays up til 12 in the morning and has to be at work the next day at 7. How he does it only the Lord knows, what might help you is if you start to go to bed early even though you aren't tired. Don't take naps during the day it keeps you up at night. Good Luck!!

to change from a night person to a morning person is hard but doable.
sleep earlier. like 10 p.m. even though you wont actually sleep, lie in ur bed and eventually, ull fall asleep. (but you will be thinking so much about everything and nothing, what i do is think about movies or t.v. shows and put myself in that show but i have super powers. lol. i know its stupid but i do it anyways) the more tired u r the better. nowadays, i sleep within 5 mins of going to bed. and at 10 pm. reason... because i have to wake up at 4-5 am to get ready for work. so i get tired at 10nish.
i dont know if this will work for girls, (maybe not) (and its embarassing but ill share it). the best way i have found that gets me to sleep is "masterbathing". it never fails me. but i havent used that "technique" in a long time. try it. i guess.
other then that. i dont know what else to try.

theres so many things that you can do. i was a real hard party person. i loved staying up all night and sleeping through the day. but when i got with my woman, i changed. as i hate going to bed alone, i went when she went. if i couldn't sleep i took sleeping pills or had draining sex. it happend after about two weeks. try to count sheep, take a hot bath, drink hot tea with milk, or work out real hard during the day and go to bed early. it may work. good luck

for starters, stop taking pills, just force yourself to get up 1 hour before you need to, and it won't take long for your system to get back on track. Also go to bed at a set time every night

A long constant regimen of making yourself get up and going to work daily................may take a year or so.
Lucky me--------I am like you. But, I am retired now, so, who cares!?!
