Over the past few months I have been retaining a lot of water and there's no obvious explanation. My clothes are all too tight and it never goes away. My eating habits have not changed at all!

Thanks for the answers. The reason I feel it is water is because I can push in on my legs and leave indentions. My eating habits have not changed, if anything I may be eating less. I'm 31 with no health conditions. It's driving me crazy...

Reduce your salt intake and, although it may
sound ironic, drinking more water actually

consider how much salt you may be taking in, alot of salt is hidden in foods from the processing. You don't mention your age, or any chronic conditions you may have. But if cutting back on salt and increasing your potassium rich foods doesn't help with the water retention, it might be time to discuss it with a doctor.

how do you know it;s water weight and not fat weight? yes, stop eating salt and things witha lot of sodium in them. water weight doesn't need to be worked off, but working out wouldn't be bad either.
