I don't think $5 would be a very good gift. A card and a poem by themselves would be fine, or just some kind of cute little whatever gift, some food or a toy car or whatever--a $5 is kind of cold, in my opinion.

The card and a poem is an awesome idea! It shows that you spent time thinking about him and guys love that. But giving money to him is just like saying 'I don't know you that well so...here just take it.' Instead, go for his fav. soda drink and candy bar. It'll show that you know him, and he'll appreciate it. If in doubt about a gift for a guy remember "the way to their hearts is through their stomachs." or in other words "feed them, they'll be happy"

If this is your BEST friend, you should be able to think of one personal gift to get them. If nothing comes to mind, you can at least think of their favorite store & take the time & effort to get them a gift card from there. Cash is so thoughtless. If my best friend gave me cash for a gift, I'd use it to buy them a "gift ideas book"!

wow. i presumed bachelor activities were loose. In in the present day's monetary device, and with you out of work, i imagine he may be information that you do not get a present. how a lot funds does he owe you? He must have lined you for the bachelor social gathering. per chance you should get him a card and interior write something like "In lieu of a present, i'm forgiving your debt."

To make it more personal --make the $5 a gift certificate to his favorite store -- it shows that you know something about him to get him something he would like.

Buy Lottery tickets with the five bucks, or take him to lunch, Taco Bell, Mickey d's, Carl's JR. Then Ice cream. You won't have to spend that much and it may mean more that you spent time together. Make it an event.

a card with a poem that you write is great....
use the five for a cool flower to go with it, or go for a soda together, and just enjoy his company in the park?!?
