the idea of any paper money is just a concept in peoples mind, so it does not matter what form you choose to spend it, as cash, cheque, electronically as a credit card ect. It is just a concept anyway.

Cash, checks, credit cards, electronic funds ... makes no difference.

Except that a little part of the money supply would go to check printers.

The money supply (M*) will not change...checks are a form of currency.
