We would know where everyone is at any given time. Crime rates would plummit, violence and abuse will be largely reduced. Privacy would not be invaded, you would not be watched. However if a crime was commited your chip would place you at the scene at that moment in time. It would be a flawless system (remember this is hypothetical). Would it not serve to better the world?

Your details would be held in the strictist privacy, unaccesable to insurance companies, employers etc. The strict use would only be for lawful reasons

it is an interesting idea, the only problem is that the people that you WANT to be chipped (to catch them in a crime) would undoubtedly find some way to get their chips either taken out, or scrambled. In addition, the cost to getting that done would be astronomical, and then you have all the people that would argue the "Invasion of Privacy" issue. You say privacy would not be invaded, but who would monitor that? The president of the united States himself has broken the law by having NUMEROUS illegal wiretaps put in place. If the person in charge of running the country, and keeping the law, can break the law, who is to keep the laws from being broken. Now on the flip side, it would be GREAT to have the kids chipped, it would seriously reduce the number of kidnappings, both by strangers or in the case of custody issues. This is just my 2 cents (actually, more like 2 bucks, but who's counting?)

Good grief no, did you not know that they send out a radio signal that can be picked up by crooks. Criminals would find a way to disable it. It can't be flawless, privacy will be given up. In the UK knives and guns have been banned but crime involving them has shot up, does that answer your question.
The bible said that we would need the mark of the beast to go about our daily lives but it is a doomed conception.
You already have the mark of the beast, six digits for your birth date, six for your location (post or zip codes) and six for your identity, your national insurance number, 666. Is that not enough, how can chipping a baby prevent it for being abducted, it can't can it?
If it is known where you are and what you are doing it will soon be applied to extract money out of you or ban you from being there.
Every where there are CCTVs, have they stopped crime????
The same old chestnut is wheeled out, if you aren't doing anything wrong there is nothing to worry about, but some anonymous person is watching you and making notes. Is that what you really want?????
Did you know that the UKs electronic data protection act only serves to stop the gereral public from accessing it?? Anybody else can get into it if they register an interest.

HELL NO!!! What are we animals people?! One more thing for bigger brother to give reasons for control. We already as a the new world order government is screaming for a revolution, and now you want to add this? Hell no! One thing that history has tought us is that nothing is "flawless". It may seem like a good idea for the moment but with every "pure" idea there is always someone in this world to exploit it. Be it for power, money or corruption. Look at nuclear fission...Fast food...disneyland!!! simple pure ideas right, now a tool for greedy currupt individual bend on the idea to control, manipulated and exploit anyone that gets in there way. Placing a micro chip so one of these monsters may have access or have the opportunity to tamper even more against my individualism as a human being. well I pray...I pray your joking...

I pray that when this starts happening everyone understands this is one of the signs for the end of times. I also pray that people start seeking god and find out the truth. That they can see what is going on in the world today. If anyone has any questions about the truth I would be more than happy to explain. Email me at nadandchar@hotmail.com

Yeah, but for how long,...
Privacy is already invaded.
Crime comes down, woo hoo! right?
But I see more and more companies being able to track that same chip. Not Just Law Enforcement. Not Just the Government.
Whose to say?
iono,...

No. I would rather not have insurance companies and employers knowing my medical history.

P.S. Quite the contrary. One company in particular are requesting all their employees to get this chip for "security" purposes. This is already in process.

Yes,but...imagine if a hacker got into the governement ID system and stole your information switching his ID with yours....and everytime your "microchip" was "scanned" it came out as " Maria Contreras" instead of your real id? What would you do? And imagine the hell you would have to go through to get "literally" your id back?
