I am 5'6 and weight 104 pounds. I want to at least gain 12 pounds. I eat a lot but I don't gain weight and it's really frustrating. I want some meat on my bones! Please, do you have any advice on gaining weight. What food should I eat? How do you gain weight?

hi ok well i am 5'8 and had the same problem. I was like 110 and sometimes less. lol
Well anyway i tried everything, eating ice cream, meat, everything in the world and the only thing i found that worked is this. Lifting weights. Not just little 3 lb. weights but going 2 a weight room

yeah you sound like me, i'm trying to do that too, try eating things with lots of carbohydrates...eg: potatos, breads, rice that'll help build you up also things like banana's also help eat more red meat. But dont eat heaps of junk to gain weight and make sure you eat three main meals and then snacks in between that's what i do...good luck

When I had to put on weight, the dr put me on a 3000 calorie per day diet. I had to drink Ensure between meals. Good luck

For quick gain from increased protein and calories:
Use half and half instead of milk...it has the same calcium, but packed with protein and calories.
Add butter to veggies and potatoes and rice.
Add sugar to your breakfast cereal.
have peanut butter on toast.

eat oatmeal and cornbread that should do it..dont drink no diet stuff and drink lots of milk...also try ensure that is found at walmart its like a vitamin drink but will help put those pounds on
