oh and for your information I have read the Iliad, twice, and also the Odessey and seen movies on both, I was just interested in other peoples take on the heroes that are presented in the book.

Weren't you supposed to READ "The Iliad"? It's very entertaining... Go rent the movie, then back-research your heroes based on the film.
