First find out what's wrong with your knees by going to a specialist. It might be that you simply need to strengthen them and stabilize them. That can be done in 4-8 weeks with the right program. If you have something more serious then it would be good to know and the orthopedics can tell you what to do.

You should keep playing, soccer is a really awsome sport. But play smart, if something happens tell the coach.

However you might want to get in to see a Physical Therapist, they can help you strengthen your knees. So try to get in ASAP!

But if you do play before you see a PT, you should wear knee braces. They may be unconfortable, but they should help prevent any further damage.

Hope that helps :-)

keep playing, there's always a match going on whether its in a gym or on the streets. In my town we've got a pick up game every sunday morning. Just get some guys together, pick sides and play. You'll miss it too much if you stop. I felt the same way about a month ago when I was feeling the pressure of trying to get a scholarship. Make the game fun again.

You should consult your doctor about the problem. While it may only be the pains of the teenage growth spurt it may be a condition that could put you in a wheel chair for the rest of your life. Seek professional help.
