i don't think it makes you break out more; oftentimes they warn you that when you start a treatment you WILL break out more because it is "bringing impurities to the surface"; think what you want about that!
you probably could use it for the rest of your life, like a daily skin care regimen.
i don't see why you can't use it at any age where you have acne.
i doubt if it keeps the oil away from your skin all day, but it probably helps if you make sure not to touch your face with your hands.
i don't know how you can get it besides online and on the phone. i don't think it is sold any other way, but i'm not sure.
$19 sounds like an optimistic sale. if i recall, it's at least 30 bucks a pop; there is an introductory offer that gives you a month or two months free (make sure you pay attention to the details); and then you pay monthly or in some other increment after that; i did it about a year ago but can't recall the exact details of price and the timing of payments.
i decided to switch to a more natural product, since proactive wasn't working any better for me than anything else, and it was expensive (relatively); everybody's skin is different; some folks have had wonderful results from proactive.
also try Murad. it's more or less the same product, same system, even same pricing (a tiny bit cheaper, i believe), but different maker.

If u don't have acne, don't use it, because it contains a formula which is suitable for ppl with a real problem. It's a bit too strong for ur skin, and if u are under 18 ur skin is expected to be oily what with the hormones and all that. Go to a pharmacist and ask what u can use that is NATURAL, withs herb extracts and such. It's much better than using neutrogena or clearasil or whatever. I know that The Body Shop has some blotting papers that u can use throughout the day to reduce shine and excess oil, i hope u understand the kind im talking about. If u wear make-up make sure its for ur skin type. U dont have to use it for the rest of ur life, ur skin will change as u grow older. u will have to use some cleanser and moistorizer though. No, proactiv doesnt keep all the oil away, i had close friends try it and by 12pm their face was all shiny again.

My suggestion is go to a health food store and ask them what product they have that is all natural that would best fit your skin type. There are great products available that are healthy and are not so expensive.
