Nope. I just don't like them. I wouldn't won't to mark my body. I have more reason with the marking of the body thing. I would feel like one of my cows or something. Just some don't like them I guess. We put or there is more meaning behind it for some of us.

Speaking as an old combat medic, and a former Community Nurse, it is virtually impossable to obtain the Blood group from an unconscious patient. I still carry my "dog tags" with me. For the sake of parental peice of mind a small tatoo under yoour watch band in an excellent investment. Think : Diabetic, Epileptic, Haemophiliac etc.

The only thing I can think of is if a loved one asked me to get one I MIGHT. I've never been ask, and never desired to have one. The same with piercings. I have none, and only once did I almost get an earring. It was because a friend of mine had a particular earring and told me she'd give me the other if I got my ear pierced. I never did.

If I could get up the nerve, I'd get one on my wrist of a yellow rose with a long stem and a tiger on my ankle...I haven't come across any reason in my life yet that would prompt me enough to overcome my fear!!!! ;-(

To tell the truth I have a HUGE problem with pain.
However, if (IF) I could overcome that problem, I've thought aobut R and L
(my husband is always teasing me about not knowing my left from my right and once told me I should have R and L tatooed on my shoulders)

I would only get one after the loss of one of my family members, as a living memorial for them.

P.S. Those are the nicest legs that I have ever seen on a turtle.

I don't have any tattoos, but I am planning one.
It is my original design, incorporating a picture and a few words, in memory of my mom, and my special guy, who have both died. I'm getting referrals right now.

Nope. I have self-inflicted permanent scars already (my stretch marks), so I don't see the need to PAY someone to put more on my body.

I personally think they're very cool on other people though!

Thanks for asking!

I plan on getting a tattoo soon just because I want one. I will get something that means something to me, not just something random.
