Two big vetoes pretty much sum up my opinion of him.
The California legislature passed a law allowing same-sex marriage, based on the current laws allowing domestic partnerships which already provide 99% of the same benefits. Arnie vetoed the bill because he said it was up to the courts, not the legislature, to make such decisions.
The California legislature passed a law granting universal health care to all state citizens, to be paid out of the money that the govt currently allocates to provinding health care. Arnie vetoed the bill because he said it was not the job of the govt to provide for the health of its citizens.

He seems to have done CA some good, I don't live there anymore, but I'd be asking myself if he can keep it up, after Davis, he did do a lot. I'd vote for him again!!
