I'm sorry. After fire comes agriculture.
After all, if you can't grow the hops and grains, you still won't have beer, no matter how many things you set fire to. Of course, you MIGHT collect wild stuff, but then you'd pay about a million dollars a glass.
Likewise, without agriculture you got no chocolate either.
So definitely first fire, then agriculture. Beer can be third. How's that?

Fire, first. Then beer (or how else would we have barbeque to go with our beer?). Finally, Narcan has to be the third greatest invention in human history (either Narcan or Haldol; can't decide which one).

i think the greatest would be the fact that we have been able to figure out that there is no greater thing than sitting in front of a huge fire drinking a beer.

I greatest invention in human history is probably Electricity. We can live without beer, although things would suck!!!

Actually it was fire, BBQ, then fine wine was created but they thought it was just bad grape juice then created beer which was really just bad grain that had turned to alcohol then they discovered hey waste not want not this ain't so bad so then you got a choice fine wind with the really good food, beer with the BBQ thus fine dining was created, God sent us Justin Wilson to teach us how to cook it even, fine dining , as we know it. :-)

yeah, you need fire to cook the stuff to make the beer. personally, my vote for 2nd best is chocolate!
