i saw this movie for the first time yesterday. i am a huge horror fan and thought this movie sucked @$$. it started out as a porno, finally got into the good stuff, and the dude somehow gets away and saves a chick, kills the hookers and pimp with the car, pays off the kids to kill the people in the car chasing him, slip unnoticed onto a train, and then finally kills the dude who lured him into the whole mess in the bathroom. i thought this movie was completly unrealistic near the end and it ruined it for me. why couldn't they have him killed? does the good guy always have to escape especially in such an unrealistic fashion? you can tell im dissapointed. the ide was good but ending blew! what do you think?

You're preaching to the choir (at least as of this post).

One part porn, one part grotesque acts of violence for the sake of grotesque acts of violence. Add a pinch of unrealism, a dash of uninspiring plot, and a huge helping of Quentin Tarantino's signature on the label, and you got "Hostel"...

It was gory, but the story line did suck. They couldn't kill the guy in the end, because the story is not over. There is a sequel that will be in theaters next year.

Storyline: Three young American women, studying in Italy for the summer, learn the grim truth behind a Slovakian hostel and its international counterparts.

it will probably be just as bad as the original and not worth seeing in theaters, maybe rent it.

They couldn't kill him because they are trying to show that evil will not prevail. You will find this idea in the beginning of most horror trends - this trend is mutilation/torture. If this idea is not executed then it is hard for the audiences to get used to the new trend of films. If the audience responds well, then the trend will become more harsh and the good guy will eventually be killed. Just sit back and try to enjoy the ride.

I thought the movie sucked also! The end especially pissed me off when the guy went back and rescued the girl, and then they get to the train station and she jumps infront of a moving train and kills herself. It was just a horrible movie in my opinion.

This was such a lame movie. It got so much hype and it didn't meet up to it all. The people all acted like total morons. I know it was just a movie but couldn't they have tried a bit harder.

I agree, I heard it was rated, but didnt think so myself.

I have recently watched The Hills Have Eyes and Silent Hill, I thought these to be good personally.

But for horror films, I think nothing will beat the Hellraiser films.

i do no longer hate them, yet I watch them with the aid of fact no different type of horror video clips unquestionably frightens me anymore. i assume I watch them in easy terms for the ask your self element, whether The Human Centipede purely took the whole "unwell and sadistic" element to a clean point. i unquestionably did no longer relish that action picture in any respect. i ask your self who comes up those suggestions.
