because a plants cells are filled mostly with water. They have vacuoles, that animal cells dont have.

Vacuoles are large, liquid-filled organelles found only in plant cells. Vacuoles can occupy up to 90% of a cell's volume and have a single membrane. Their main function is as a space-filler in the cell, but they can also fill digestive functions similar to lysosomes (which are also present in plant cells). Vacuoles contain a number of enzymes that perform diverse functions, and their interiors can be used as storage for nutrients or, as mentioned, provide a place to degrade unwanted substances.

if a plant is dehydrated, these cells will not be as full and give it a wilted appearance. If the plant is well watered, the vacuoles will fill up and bring back the plant's original appearance.

The vacuoles, the water containers inside the plant cell, have become refilled with water.

when a plant is wilted, it is dry. the water makes the wiltiness go away because the plant absorbs the water. it's sort of like a sponge.

gee, you just answered your own question didn't you? If you watered it well, it's not needing water now is it? It's not like humans--too much water makes us wrinkly. A plant is just going to absorb the amount of water it needs. Just remember that it is possible to over-water a plant and cause it to drown

The water is absorbed into the cell because of osmosis. Before, the cell was like this box:
|. . .| . . .

the dots represent water.

Now, you've added water outside the cell.

|. . .| .....

So it evens out.

|.....| .....

So the cell fills out, resulting in a stiffer and less wilted appereance.

Because it's just been hydrated. The fluids that were lost, have been restored.
