I think that employees breathe in too much toxic fumes from the food there, and this gives them brain damage.

Well, they can't sell a burger for 2 bucks and be able to afford competent employees. Does it really matter what you get? It's all grade E meat anyway. The only difference is which slurry schute the animal byproduct squirts out of.
A lot of people are quick to jump on the employees about it, but face it, they're mostly young, inexperienced, and this probably their first job, which means they probably haven't developed a solid work ethic, not to mention they're probably there for the extra cash, so it's not like their lives depend on it.
The other thing is that they're making hundreds of orders a night, so if you're especially picky about what you want on your burger, that's where it gets screwed up the most. They're just used to the routine, the soul-crushingly dull routine, that details tend to slide.
Not to mention it's hard to care when everyone thinks you're the scum of the earth, witness the answers to this question.

yeah, it has to do with the fact that most of the people that work there are 15 years old and just don't care about your food. Next time, after they hand you the food, do a check before driving off. Yes....sit there right in the way of the cars behind you and make sure the order is right. Better than wasting time and gas to have to go back right??

curiously the guy on window is a finished fool... in the experience that your order is incorrect again, whinge to a manager and hell they could even provide you consisting of your excellent order for loose if you're making sufficient of a fuss about it... . one thanks to stay away from them screwing up your order is to have them repeat the order again to you earlier you're charged any money... That way you'd be particular that your order will ultimately be perfect.. Xp

That's why you should check your order before you leave the place.
Reason it happens is you have young people (with everything but McD's on their mind) trying to do things too fast. I know, I used to be a manager at one of the places.

Yes, it happens all the time to me. I usually phone and get free food out of it. I think my name must be in a book somewhere that says screw up her order so the kids scream and we have to give away more free food.

Logic: Mexicans work at McDonald's. Mexicans speak Spanish. Americans order in English.
Result: Screwed up order

Happens to me all the time, I really dont know why. But, I use it to my advantage. Call their call center, # should be on their bags or something, and complain about poor service, they will give you a McDonald gift certificate. I really hate their service despite numerous it sucks.
