It can be an adjective, pronoun or adverb depending upon how it is used.

Adjective: Ask any man you meet.
Pronoun: Do you have any money?
Adverb: I could not stand it any longer.

any can be an adjective or an adverb . . it just depends on how it's used in the sentence . . . look it up at http://www.dictionary.com . . .
