That's why I put it under womens' health. Do you ever chat with men on line and they keep asking you to call or want your telephone number? That is my question and I would appreciate any answers or comments from women. Thanks.

Yeah, men do that. Sometimes, they just want to make sure that you are a woman. Then again, they could just want your number so they can look up your information and stalk you.
If you do decide to call - punch in *67 before you dial the number - callID blocker.

It happens to me all the time. If I want to meet someone, I'll chat them up online for a while, until I get a feel for their personality. After a few days, I'll make the decision of how serious to take this person... then I'll call, or have him call. During the phone call, I listen to how he talks, how he's breathing, and I trust my gut instinct. If I get nauseated after talking to him - I won't meet him. I met some guy that made me sick on the phone - and he turned out to be the stalker type. Wide, staring eyes - creepy.

You have no idea who the person at the other end is. They could lie to you about everything under the sun. Unless your prepared to have to go through changing you telephone number don't give it out. Try calling him with you number marked private or just stick to chatting online. There are way too many crazies out there now a days to take any chances. Trust Me

I stopped chatting! Last year I was using an ID user that no one really knew if I was a female or a male. I had one of those cameras you can use to see who you're talking to. I didn't have a microphone though.

I start chatting with someone who I couldn't guess if it was a girl or a guy. after 30 minutes of having a fun conversation, I decided to ask if it was a boy or girl!

so this person asked if I had a view camera because this person did. We both had one. So I waited for the picture to come though to see what he or she was. and all of a sudden.........

This big Shlong was wiggeling at me! I was shocked. Shut the computer and decided not to chat again!

Actually I do chat with a guy every day... Not men but just one man. I chat with him every day and he knows my number, and my home address... He's got a hearing distortion problem and it's very hard to speak on the phone, but nevertheless he calls. He's totally in luv with me and I with him. I am a homamaker, and he's not. He has a programming job. We don't chat for hours, but we do communicate.
He's charming and hot as hot is. He's got me wrapped around his heart like a bean stalk... He plays piano and is good with his hands as well. He is soooo smart, I learn stuff from him a lot.
He's got blue eyes and a perfect pitch in his ear. And he is down to earth, kind of a family guy.
He's on vacation now, and he's taking me and the kids and my mom on a little sejour around the island, and the mainland. He knows where I keep my money and knows how much stock I own. He knows where my jewlery is as well.. I am confident he will never steal from me, or harm me in any way.
He's very caring, and very loving and loves my girls. They're half his.. Oh, did I mention I am married to him??? Duh! I would not dare to chat with anyone else and let them know so much info about myself otherwise.

good luck, stay healthy.

I have and it was really funny at first I would lead some of them on and then one day just cut the wire and never talk to them again... Then one day I did give a man my phone number and he would not stop calling me, then I finally got my phone number changed. My advice is to never give your phone number to anyone on line, it can be dangerous even if you are grown.

I agree w/the comments stated here, all you have to do is watch the news or even the Law and Order show to see that it starts out good and could end up w/really bad results. Please do not give out any information to anyone ever.

Don't give out your personal info. Just tell them that chatting online is just enough. Keep your safety first and have fun :)

i don't chat with random men online, since im only 14
but like you can always ask them for their number,
and use like *67 so you're phone number is unknown..
