Approach him in a mature fashion and express that you find him an interesting person. Then ask him if he'd like to go to the movies or something sometime.

Gosh that's gonna be tough. You don't want to come off being too eager for him so you gotta play it cool. You need to get his attention without being obvious. The best way is just to act like you're in his grade when you're around him even if he knows you're younger. If you can show him you're more mature than maybe he will be more open to liking a younger girl. Older guys in high school don't want to be made fun of by their friends because they're going out with a 'baby'. Best advice... bump your maturity level up a grade. Shouldn't be too hard. If you don't already know him, say hi, introduce yourself, and try to start a friendship. That's where every relationship has to start anyway. See where it goes from there after you get to know him. It doesn't really matter that he's in a higher grade than you (unless it's a ridiculously big gap). Remember, if it's meant to be, it'll work out. Good luck!

Heh, I have the same problem.
Hott kidd= sophomore.
Me= freshman.
It blows. But, yeah..basically what that chick said up there ^^. Get to know him. Like..make small talk.. Be like,"Duude, did you ever have Mr. ...? He just gave us a shitload of homework, and I just don't get it.."
Heh, something like that. But, yanno, don't talk to him in front of a lot of older girls that he's friends with, guys too. Cause if he's like, What the ****!? Then you won't have to face the humiliation.

A grade difference really isn't that big a deal. My bf is two grades ahead of me, and about a year and 4 months age difference. It really doesn't matter that much. Just ask him, and hopefully he will say yes!

omg girl!!! i got the same problem!! there is this guy that i like but he doesnt hav any of my classes and hes older then me!! my friend nows him and talks 2 him. i really want 2 b friends w/ him first cuz i think u should first get 2 know him and he should get 2 know u!! i dont think u should go up 2 him and say "hey do u want 2 out?" i mean ii think thats kinda pushy. i get really shy!! but i guess just get the courage 2 talk 2 him!!

how much higher if not that much look totally flirty around him he may come around to talk to u or bump into him with your books so u both have to bend down to pick them up and strik a conversation DON'T BE SHY
