Before you touch your Registry, back it up. You can do this manually or with a freeware program. The program ERUNT is a freeware Registry backup program.

You can use the instruction provided by MicroSoft to backup your registry. I know this was not what you asked for but I feel it is just as important. If you hose your registry and do not have it backed up you could end up re-installing your Windows operating system.
For XP http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322756
For W2k http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322755/
For 9x, ME http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322754/
Unless you are having problem it is not recommended to edit your Registry. Editing the Registry can and often does lead to unrepairable damage to your Operating System.

Try this:
RegCleaner
http://www.aplusfreeware.com/categories/LFWV/RegCleaner.html
It's called RegCleaner and it shows you a list of all the programs. If you see anything that has to do with the program you mentioned you can safely delete it.
Good Luck
