and if not, is there anyway to intercept an email off the server?

Go to the Outlook site and you will find out all you want to know about what you can do and not do in outlook and outlook express.

Not an elegant way to do this assuming Exchange in the back-end. The recipient will get a notification that the message has been recalled.

I think the administrator can do that, do you have a IT person in your office who is the admin....I think they can see all the emails from every account...I dont know if they can "erase" it, but maybe stop its delivery

you can't retract an email in ANYTHING. and this is why you should think about what you're sending before you click the 'send' button.
