No - then we would not have had Reagan!
But - NOT while they are still "acting". They themselves say they get so absorbed in a character that the character's reality becomes their reality. Sounds too unstable...

"Like Ray Charles or Stevie Wonder ?" is this what you are getting at or do you want to blind all celebrities ?
There are very few blind ones already .Do you intend to blind more of them so they can not see public offices.
What would seeing piblic offices do to change things .Maybe they would send over some of thier domestic staff to clean up the offices .
Do you have a thing against Gay designers remodeling public offices .
Maybe some pink curtians in the "Oval Office "would be nice .
With all the major problems we have i do not think we should worry about celebrities seeing public offices .

Yeah seeing public offices would be a terrible thing for them to see and they should be banned from it!

They have the same rights and freedoms as everyone else. That being said, some of the worst office holders have been Hollywood celebrities.Specifically Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ronald Reagan, and George Murphy.

Nope. If they can qualify, good for them.
I wish more people would run on a variety of tickets--and break the 2 party system.
Arnold is not eligible, but I think he could do a better job than we have had the past 6 years. I do NOT want the law to change because then a Saudi would be running things, since they have TONS of money.
No thanks.

I think celebrities should be allowed to see the same offices that the rest of us can see.

I think it should be the other way around ONLY celebrities. That way at least they will not be doing it for the money they are already rich Therefore LESS corruption. Also most of them KNOW to hire GOOD advisors/coaches who will help them at what they cannot do well.

Of course not!
I think anybody (paupers to kings) ought to be able to SEE as many public offices as they want to!

How could you define a celebrity? Too vague.
