Living organisms are classified into 3 groups, which are known as domains:
Eukaryotes = organisms whose cells have nuclei and internal membranes,
Bacteria
Archaea

Bacteria and archaea are both prokaryotes, at least according to Wikipedia. However, there is some argument among scientists about these classifications, so you should also check what your book or your teacher says.
