i am studying english in collage can any body help me with poetry i need ur help really who is the writer of poem called beowulf . this is very required but please tell me only if u r sure . and if u can please tell me in less than 10 lines any thing u know about this poem. thanks for ur help in advance

Beowulf is one of the oldest European epics and is considered the first masterpiece of English literature. The author of the tale is unknown; the oldest manuscript we have of it was transcribed in the 11th century.
