I'm building a trailer and i'll be carring my ATV on it from time to time which will require interstate driving, I travel less than 100 miles one way, The trailer is 5'x8', and weighs about 400lbs. and my fourwheeler weight 600 lbs., i would like too know if a tire w/ a 12" rim is suitable for the interstate, Thanx

As long as both the tires and wheels are rated for highway speeds and weight rated for the load they will be carrying, you shouldn't have a problem.

It's not the wheels, it's the tires that matter. The Mini Cooper runs on 12" wheels.

yes they are .i live in maine and my snowmobile trailer has 12 in rims on it.i carry two snowsleds up interstate 95 with no problems.

To be safe, check with your nearest tire professional, such a GoodYear, Bridgestone, etc.
