I would have to vote for Boston!

Its full of American history, fantastic restaurants, good shopping, sporting events, theater and museums.

There are 28 institutions of higher learning in the Boston Metro area, and as a consequence cultural choices abound!

The Back Bay or waterfront area near Quincy Market are probably the most central places to stay. Boston is a city of walking and there is a wonderful mass transit subway system.

My all time favorite is NYC. I'm from Oklahoma so the tall buildings, New York accents, fast paced life, subways, noise, concrete everywhere you stepped (except for Central Park),and seeing famous landmarks that I always saw on tv or movies was just awesome!!
A close second would be Washington D.C. As you walk around there you can just feel the power in that city! So much history too.

Hands down-San Francisco has my vote. Not only have I visited there, but have also lived there in the past-Great ambience, lots to do and see, and great people. Worst place to visit was San Antonio, Texas. The people are very nice and outgoing, but the town, outside of the Riverwalk is dark, dead and desolate. Needs revitalizing for sure.

Durango, Colorado. It's a blend of old and new, east and west, populated but not crowded. They have everything from movies to train rides & I'd recommend taking a trip on the Durango-Silverton railway.

There's just too much good to do. Ski, horseback riding, hiking, shopping, museums, art galleries, native shows and crafts, rodeo, live entertainment....and excellent food. Also note that the air is crisp and fresh and the pace is so relaxing that I'd just love to live there.

Ny of course, its full of action. The worst city was Houston. Boooring!! No wonder texans carry guns they're starving for action. Imagine hearing "Don't mess with Texas" a million times a day. You'll wanna shoot someone too.

I've been everywhere and San Diego is the best hands down. The best actual spot is the Grand Canyon in Arizona...looking down is amazing, pictures and movies can't capture it!

Tossup for different reasons. It is hard to beat NYC or San Francisco, but San Diego is great too. Now that I think about it, Seattle and Chicago were also good for many reasons. I hated Dallas, Atlanta, Phoenix.
