Ortho mades a lawn weed killer called Weed*b*Gon. Well it didn't work very well on CC and you had to spray it 2 or 3 times. So they went back to the drawing board (actually they borrowed the exact formula that Bonide made for their Oxalis, Clover & Chickweed Killer) and called this "new" product Weed*b*Gon MAX. The only thing you do differently from the directions is mix 3 tablespoons/gal instead of 2 TBS that it says in the instructions. Normally I never tell anyone to go against the instructions but in this case Bonide scientists created the concoction and they say 3 TBS/gal. Ortho only borrowed it so I go with the guys who made it.
So why am I suggesting Ortho instead of the original Bonide? Ortho wants to take a nick out of Bonide's sales so they are selling 40oz for around $8 and Bonide is 16oz for $10. All comes down to money. But this stuff works great on CC. Usually 1 app and that's it.

a answer of a million:10 borax in water could be sprayed on Creeping Charlie to kill it. even though it must be sprayed while the plant is flowering. This has worked for me, even though it does bypass away vast brown patches interior the backyard the place the Creeping Charlie had taken over. Charlie is very continual nevertheless, and could proceed to unfold from any bits left at the back of.

Collegekid has a good answer for you!
Bonide makes great products, and if you can find their product, my uncle had great success with beating back the creeping charlie in his yard. It's what I recommended to him.
Keep up the fight... it never really completely goes away.
Good luck-
