How? To learn to love yourself and appreciate yourself. It's not insulating yourself but, to love yourself from the heart. It does not mean you will forget them. They are part of your life in the past and possibly currently. Remember the good things about the relationship and carry that forward in life. Remember the bad things and not repeat them. Each relationship good or bad becomes a learning experience. It's in your hands how you live life. Enjoy it or wallow in it.

You could do this one thing that may help. Is write a letter to the person writing everything you still want to say to them. About your feelings and thoughts with regards to them. Then sign it. Read it once. Then tear it up and throw it away. And see how you feel. You may have to do this more than once during your time on earth.

Good luck and enjoy

Not I. The BEE GEES said it all in their song "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart" but that doesn't mean one can apply those words and make them work, I know I can't........
