If you look for the statistics, you will find that countries and states with stricter gun control laws actually have more gun crimes than places with more relaxed laws. Criminals will always have guns. Now imagine if you were a criminal, and you knew that no law-abiding citizen in your community would own a gun? That gives criminals a lot of power.

Absolutely not, this country would not have even been founded had the British made their subjects registar their weapons. Crime rates have increased not decreased since gun control was introduced after the Kennedy assiantion. If more people were armed there would be less crimes against persons, as the thug would have to worry if his vitim ha him out gunned.Criminals will aways have guns, did you know that when ones right to vote is restored after he has served his complete sentence and is no longer on supervision, he can legally own a fire arm? SO theres another misnomer shot to hell.
Gun registration will help the governement only in a case of martial law, and this country was founded against martial law

First off, phrase it as a question, like: Does the American government establish its gun control laws in order to reduce violence in streets and homes?
To answer:
Many of the gun control laws that have been adopted by the government have been due to situations that have been easy for politicians to be sympathetic towards. For example, politicians often jump on the bandwagon in election years on gun control legislation because it is easy for the public to sympathize with a grieving mother of a murdered child. I beleive thats how many of the assault rifle gun bans were began, that and the outcry from police. It seemed for a while that police were out gunned in some situations. Like that one that took place in LA where the gunmen were walking around shooting everything, and were covered from head to toe with shielding. The police handguns, and shotguns were useless against their kevlar vests.

countries with strong gun control MAY have lower gun crimes, but have higher overall crime rates. washington dc outlawed guns and is the murder capitol of the country. briton and australia now has increased crime due to the gun bans.
the right to own and bear guns was put into the constitution as a personal right of the people, not some government army, to prevent a totalitarian government from taking over.

The government is run by criminals, and terrorists. It is their objective to take guns away from the people. If they ever succeed in doing so, look out, we will be living in a fascist police state, with martial law replacing the constitution.

What most Americans don't realize is that stronger gun control laws were enacted so that American citizens would be defenseless during a time of rioting when martial law would be instituted and then THIS secret plan would be implemented!...
