Yes--men are stupid and do not realize it. In fact, they think they have a monopoloy on intelligence. They still feel this way--it is just not as blantantly institutionalized.

No. It was mostly the thinking of the time. Back then women were considered a small step above animals and property. This was mostly for religious reasons.

why?
laws are just our best ideas at the time... never assume there's a rationale for any of them unless it is articulated. the rationale was that women were too dumb to be allowed that sort of power. you think it's bad that their right to vote took so long? they even rewrote the laws that gave them that right by mistake!!

No. Oh wait, all property laws were writtten before 1920s, so yes. There was a good reason.

I would gladly give up my right to vote to be able to go back to the way it was. Where I got to staty home and take care of my home and family and did not have to work my butt off just to survive. You can decide who rules the country if I can get my door opened for me and my groceries carried to the car. I would gladly trade all the feminist equality crap to go back to the way things were!

The "reason" was that women were inferior to men; it wasn't a good reason.

THE REASON WAS THAT WOMEN HAD NO RIGHTS, THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO BE BARE FOOT AND PREGNANT AND DO AS THEIR HUSBANDS SAY. I AM SURE GLAD TIMES HAVE CHANGED.
