It's easy if you put your mind to it.

Basic biology is EASY!
It's usually the starting point for people who may want to go into some sort of medical field. Biology is a piece of cake.
When I was in HS, I went from Biology to Chemistry, then to Marine Biology - that was a great class, but I have to give props to the teacher - Mrs. Sullivan was awesome!
Since leaving high school, I've developed an interest in Anatomy & Physiology - that's a big part of being a massage therapist, and any other medical job. It teaches you about the human body, how it works, functions, and how it can be repaired.
It's easy if you really like to learn about life and how it's sustained.

Biology was my personal favorite science. I ended up taking it as my chosen science elective in college, too. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, so whether it's easy or hard may be different for you than for someone else. Biology has a lot to do with memorization and visual recognition. Where chemistry and physics (at least in my high school) are more math intensive, biology is more like earth science in that it's more hands-on and you'll need to memorize how things look, where they are, and their purpose more than formulae and more abstract concepts, which is easier for most people.

I enjoyed my high school and college biology and life science classes.
When I was in high school we got to type our blood as a class project. We all pricked our own fingers and dropped the antigens on the samples and we found out what our blood types were! Sadly, you won't be able to do that in your class. Now days the blood typing tests are all sterile simulations.
We also got to disscect a frog (pickled, of couse), but observed the teacher stun and open up a living frog to watch the heart beating. Now the PETA people have invaded our classrooms, and that demo won't be done much if ever now.
You will be learning about cells and what goes on inside both plant and animal cells.
You'll get to look deep into an onion cell. Onion cells are easy to study, because they are "large".
Think of your high school biology class as an adventure to realms unseen. You'll have fun, but not the same fun I had years ago.
If anything, biology is HARDER on the teachers than the students because of fear of AIDS and PETA!

I love biology...it can be easy for some and hard for others. I think the majority of people find that is somewhere between the two!

Everything is hard if you want to be good at it.
I assume though, that you mean is biology a hard subject to take in school. Some people will say yes and some no.
I will say that if you are good at memorizing names and facts then entry level biology courses are easy. If you are better at things you can figure out, like math or physics problems then you might want to take one of those instead.

Well, I am a Biology major and I love it. If you are interested in the subject, it will make you want to learn and read more about it therefore making it easy for you. But, if you aren't interested then it might be a little difficult for you, unless you put some effort into it. It all depends on you.

I have made of biology my career and my passion, it is a wonderful science that tries to understand the way life works.
Wheras it is easy or hard depends on what level of study you are talking about. The fundamentals are easy to understand but as you discover more complex mechanisms, it gets a lot more tricky (go to link for an example)

I enjoyed biology so I didn't find it difficult. I really didn't care too much for English but I was fortunate to do well in it. Math (algebra, calculus) was a different story. I didn't "get it" real quick like some people. It was challenging but I always felt rewarded when I finally figured it out. Even though, because I had to work at it and the "light bulb" eventually came on, I still enjoyed it.
