mine was the first time I read a whole book by myself. It was 'where the wild things go'. I was in kinder"garden". I haven't felt pride like I did that day.

when me and my sister used to sleep on the back seats of the car and I could hear my mom talk with my dad as he drove in the night. The street lights would pass by as the car moved on. I somehow felt very safe and strangely peaceful.

When I used to climb on this wall near my house, (it was kind of dangerous but as a kid I never thought about it) and I spend some time watching the clouds and the beautiful sky lying down on top of the wall. I felt such peace in me when I used to do that.

Helping my grandma can her garden every August, then turning the soil for winter readiness. When she became too old to do it, she would watch me while I did it for her. Her last August I was twelve.

To this day the smell of fresh turned, warm soil or the smell of unset jam still makes me warm and fuzzy.

Going to fiesta texas with my family and friends. and also playing in the snow for the very first time in my life when i was in the third grade here in texas it doesn't snow very much!!! at all only like every 15 years!!!

Riding our horses thru the woods on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River then galloping home because they knew they were going home.

when my daddy and i were walking down the dirt road with me on his shoulders and i asked him why it looked like the sun was following us and he stopped and drew a picture of what was happening while he explained it to me. i was only 4 at the time and i thought my daddy was the smartest man alive...i still think that!!

well, it was nice to really believe in things when i was little. like, santa claus, jesus, ect. just that magical feeling of belief and purpose. the older i get, the more skeptical i get and the more cold life seems.

putting my pet cat in the microwave... the fcuker was trying his damnest to get out.....LOL
