what do I do if I can't play challenge 7 please help?

According to a fellow Gold Rush player, they had problems with 7. Just move on to 8-10 until they fix the problem. Try it again tonight. A lot of people are having problems with getting 10 shots for that challenge. It took me about 10 times to get it right.
