What happens to Lester Billings wife (Rita) In The Boogeyman?

A friend of mine wants to know what happens to her. I can't remember the movie all that much so I forget. It's for a school essay. Didn't she die in the bathtub or something?

haha no that was the candyman.....
umm i think she was the mom that died & in one part of the movie she "came back" dead & her son freaked out. & also there were many flash backs where her & her husband were talking.
