For example, "the red book", red would be the adjective because it describes something.

If you ever get a question like this and don't know what to do, here are some things to look for:
If a word ends with LY (like truly or melancholy) you can be PRETTY sure that it is NOT an adjective
If another choice is an object or thing, then it is a noun and not an adjective.
The option "poem" isn't an adjective because it doesn't describe anything. It IS a thing! It's a thing that you can describe. You can touch/see it. You can't touch/see "beautiful"

Injured is the adjective. even in spite of the indisputable fact that that's in many situations a verb in this sentence that's used to describe the athlete. Adjectives are descriptive words. It tells you what style of athlete it grow to be.

i say beautiful is the adjective it describes the poem - melancholy is the title and a sentiment i am not sure what truly is. goo luck

"Beautiful" is your main adjective, truly modifies beautiful. So, "truly beautiful" is what's called an adjective phrase.
