One of them is moving to another country and the other one is going away for just that year in another country. I'll be a junior that year. I'm really shy, but I'm nice to everyone, I just don't know how to make more friends, it's like so scary to me to go up to a person I don't know at all and say Hi. It's always the other pesron who goes up to me. I just don't know how to be less shy and more freindly, and how to make friends.

I was in similar shoes when I was going to be a Junior. I bet you have aquaintances you know or friends of your best friends. Start talking about your friends to them. I don't mean mean things. I mean things like "Did [friend's name] tell you she was moving?" then you could possibly strike up a conversation about how you'll miss her or how it seems like it will be an interesting place. You'll learn a lot from a tiny conversation like this. Before my Sophomore year was over, I became really tight with some one with whom no one would've guessed I would be friends with and we drove home from school together every afternoon.
If you're really not comfortable with that idea, talk to lab partners. You'll have to anyway. I'm assuming you're taking Chemistry now? Talk to your partner about music or something. If you're not allowed music in lab, say something like "I wish we could listen to [favorite singer or band]." Or, if you are listening to music in lab, say "I LOVE [band or singer playing]." or "I'd rather be listening to [favorite singer or band]." Talking about music goes a long way. Soon enough, you'll be comfortable talking to your lab partner and be able to talk to them like a friend.
