Yes, I figure skate. I've been learning to figure skate for the past 6 years before that anytime I was on the ice I was just about hanging onto the boards. I started out as an adult and never even knew there was the sport of figure skating when I was a kid because in my house we didn't have cable or satellite and my dad and brother ruled the TV. I've been competing the last 5 years in adult only skating events including two Skate Canada Adult Championships. In my first SC Adult Championship I one a Bronze medal in Adult Ladies Freeskate 1 (It's now called Adult Bronze) 40+ in 2004. I've won many medals at many other events but none as prestigious as the one I won at the 2004 Adult Championships.
It's never too late to learn how to skate.

Yeah, I've been skating for 5 years, and I working on double salchow and double toe. It's and awesome sport, and one of the hardest.
