you need to suppress RFI (radio frequency interference). Ferrite suppressors on TV cables and extension blocks are easily obtained.
Interference of this kind can be a bog headache on freeview boxes (UK digital TV boxes) which get interference from Fridges, passing cars, computers etc.

You can get filters at places like Radio Shack. They help to some extent. I am not sure whether you can get rid of them entirely.
