According to an interveiw John Prescott had with journalist, John Humpries,Prescott said he was NOT going to go!!! Some say, if he,as Deputy Prime Minister,(so called) resigned, there would have to be a general election, but Prescott has denied this. So it looks like we are stuck with the t*ss-pot!

When Tony Blair goes - they'll hold an internal Labour 'sort-of' election (- they don't have one member one vote like a democracy -) and elect a deputy leader at the same time. So within a year according to Blair - unless he pulls a fast one.

He went a long time ago, mad that is! He`s bad enough to represent a Yorkshire team at football or cricket besides one of their MPs. There is one part of that old Yorkshire saying which is true of Prescott, If you ever do owt for nowt, do it for thee sen.I don`t thing we need a deputy.
