i feel really lame "having sex with clothes on".. it just seems very amateur.. however i have the rationality to realize im not ready for real sex.. do a lot of people do it? do you do it? have you done it before?

Sure, why not. I think it is a great way to put some passion in a relationship when one or both partners recognize that the time is not right for greater levels of sexual intimacy. Of course, you have to make sure you are ready for dry-humping too. As long as you are clear as to your boundaries and not just leading the other person on, I don't see any problem with it. The amateurs are the ones who rush into sexual intimacy and risk pregnancy or psychological well being because they cannot communicate their preferences or are concerned about appearances.

Almost everyone has done it, but it's the pits for a guy!
