I must've been bit by something during the night. The bite is on my elbow and hurts so bad. The bite left a red ball which feels like it is puss filled and it also caused a bruise about 2 cm away from the initial bite. The bruise is about 2 inches in diameter. What could this be??? And what can I do to stop it from hurting so damn much.

Well depending on where you live...It could be some type of spider. You may want to take some med. If it does not get any better got to the Doctor. My friend got bit by a spider and done nothing about it. The skin started to turn black and die....so GO TO THE DOC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could be a brown spider bite, in which case you should see a doctor, especially if it continues to get worse, you may need antibiotics.

I had a similar thing happen at the weekend on my knee. It was hot angry and swollen. I took antihistamine and it helped. Now my body has coped with it and now its looking more normal. Give it 24 hours and if you feel worse see your doctor for a antibiotic. Good luck!
