I prefer Google. I find its search engine results incredibly good. Plus all of their other services (Analytics, AdWords, AdSense, Maps/Local, Alerts, Apps for Domain, Calendar, GMail, Groups, ETC) are all great as well.
Yahoo does have some nice stuff too, but Google is my preference.

Google ftw. Google is the top ranking search engine to be on, so everyone is trying to be there, that means more/better results.

Google for search because of better results but not for their answers. You have to PAY to have questions answered.
