Of course, and so do girls. Context isn't just for reading, it is for living. If you are pretty and nice but come from a redneck or trailer trash background, then watch out. There will be those who make bad assumptions you would rather not be made. Or those who think that your being nice and normal is an act because you are really like.... The opposite applies if your home and car, as they used to say, put you in a higher station. Poor guy dating rich girl will make similar sets of assumptions, like she must be down on herself if she will go for me, so I can be abusive and she'll love it, or I could never live up to her standards so I'll have all the fun with her that she will pay for and move on to someone more in my league. Sad, but the happy medium of "look into my eyes and see a girl seeing a guy" equality is possible but surprisingly rare. Good luck.

your house and your car reflect how you feel about yourself
if you have an old car, that's one thing, but if your car is full of trash because you don't clean it out when you get home, or your house is very messy,dirty, & you don't clean often - well if you don't respect the things you have enought to care for them properly, how are you going to care for yourself properly or even going further - you are going to be sloppy in your relationships also. A decent nice guy will lose respect for you right away, it might not show up, but in the end it wil be there. On the other hand if you change and he sees you are changing your ways, he will respect you for your strength and courage to step out and improve yourself an your life..
