Rats and descented Skunks make great pets although they get a bad rap. They are both wonderful pets.

Me personally i have 4 cats, 1 dog, and 3 guinea pigs. I think that if you dont want a cat or a dog then you should get a guinea pig. There great pets and there only around 30 to 40 dollars.

I have 4 raccoons. They are very smart and playful animals, once you get them to trust you. This can sometimes be a little hard to do, but once they are domesticated, they can be a lot of fun. They are also very cheap to feed, as their favorite food is dry dog or cat food.

I believe the best pet would be a chinchilla because it has a long life span, doesn't smell, and sort of looks like a Pikachu.

Fish in an aquarium. They don't need a whole lot of maintenance and they are very soothing to watch. Fresh water tropical ones are the best. Thanks for giving me a best answer. What about a ferret (sp?), I had a friend that had 2 of them and they would run around the house and do all kinds of funny stuff. One time they hid in her laundrey and started dragging her hot pink workout pants across the house...

a Horse, if that's too big, a rat makes a really nice pet.
