Ahhh.. am NOT a seafood person. Can't smell it, taste it, see it.. or I'm tossing.
Somehow, on my 24th birthday, a huge group of us girls ended up at the Hibachi Japan. We had reservations but they forgot about us so they gave us a round of drinks on the house.
I figured I would just have veggies or something.
We finally made it to our table. There was a 10 or 11 y.o. next to me eating some kind of squirmy, squirty REVOLTING sea creature and.... I threw up all over the grill.
Puke sizzling as I ran out of there.... I could hear all of the customers in that section of the restaraunt going "eeeewwwww" or "aaawwwwww nnnnaasssstyyyyy" I was ....so incredibly embarrassed and...that was the end of my birthday experience.

About six weeks ago my husband and I took our two 2 year old grandchildren that we are raising to a Steak and Shake. We were seated right away by the hostess. The man right behind us was seated too. We sat there with our grandchildren for over 35 minutes. The man who had been seated after us was getting up to leave when we went to the manager and told him that no one had even come over to take our drink order. He said he would handle it and went to the waitress station where there were 3 waitress's standing and chatting. He said something to them and all three of them started shaking their heads no. At that point we realized that none of the girls wanted to wait on us because of the 2 children. The kids were being very well behaved and were sitting and coloring.
We got up and told the manager not to bother. I called the restaurant the next morning to lodge my complaint. The person who answered the phone told me he was the owner and he would handle it. I called their corporate office and found out that the restaurant that we had visited was corporate owned not franchised. I made complaints every where I could. I still have a credit there and can take as many people s I want to eat there for free but have not gone back.

Mellow Yellow in Hyde Park-Chicago IL and the tab we racked up we could have gotten a better meal than getting served dirty cups and silverware and the food could have been much better than just this slop. We had a nearly $200 bill and it wasnt worth it at all. Then what made the situation even worse the waitstaff was trying to keep us happy and even giving us free drink refills and whatever we wanted after having dinner served on dirty plates, eating with forks that had crusted food on it from the last person who ate off it and cups that had lipstick stains on it and crusted crap from what looked like milk on it. We did get a reduction off the bill, but that's about the thanks we got for even staying one more minute up in that place. The drinks we ordered were watered down by the time they were brought to us and we demanded fresh drinks that were not loaded with ice and left for 5 mins to dillute the beverage to where it had no taste. If you think that's something try having a waitress who doesnt wash her hands when she uses the bathroom that's enough to make you want to call the health department to report these places.

Hour wait for one pizza, which arrived at the table with the wrong topping and cold. The restaurant folded about a month later.

We went to a new place here called Big Boy's. It use to be around in like the 70-80's but they took them out and just rebuilt them. Ok, well first off, our waitress was dumber than a box of rocks. Seriously, we had to repeat the order at least 5 times. And then I got chicken tenders, and my chicken comes out uncooked and squishy and eww. It was disgusting. I wanted to vomit on it, seriously. Ew.

less than a month ago, we went to a resteraunt for a nice breakfast, after waitng about 1/2 hour we were served what looked like avery good meal, only after eating 1 sausage and part of an easy over egg, I found not 1, but 4 pieces of :Hair: I hollered for the waiter (Chinese) and he came round I ordered him to take it away and told him I was not paying for it, which I didn't, I got up and yelled to the people in the place that "I HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY A VERY "HAIRY" breakfast, then left.

I was at this french place that came highly reccomended. They didn't have the first three dishes I ordered, then they tried to push some unhealthy crap on me. Got in an argument with the jacka$$ manager who kept trying to tell me that there was nothing wrong with his butter loaded crap. Of course this was a french restaurant.
