There is this guy who has called what, 4 times now asking "Is this the Mechanic Shop?" I say no and he's like "Okay" and hangs up, I answered the call only once but he keeps calling, can I call the police for that? It's really creepy.

you can but they will ask you to go and make a report to police station if you are scared for your safety do that and you can also call your telephone provider and tell them the situation and they can have your telephone number blocked or if you have caller I.D and it isn't showing a number call your telelphone company and tell them you want it blocked and that person who tries to call they will have to reveal their number to the computerized operater to get through you then you can know number they are calling from report it and find out who that weirdo is tell authorites

u can change your phone number. or after you inform him not to call again that this is not the mechanic shop... you can ask the phone company to put a trace on the call. keep documentation of time that the calls came in... if you are threatened over the phone or any inappropriate sexual remark is made then you can call the police immediately. also if u are forced to change number it should be free of charge due to the calls. i did this before including the trace and the person was found.

Just tell him he has a wrong number.. if you answered the call only once how can he have called 4 times. You can call the police but unless he threatens you what can they do about it. Just tell him to stop calling the number he has as it is obvious he has a wrong number.. then maybe you can also learn how to explain how he has call 4 times and you answered the call only once.? hmmmm

when a stranger call haha yes u can and they can trace it, or maybe u can call ur phone company and block him but what is the use he probably cll from a different # but yea if it happens again call then and report him

how long have you had your telephone number.??
i keep getting loads of people calling me and asking if i was so and so damp proofing, i have had my telephne number 6months. i did some investigation work and my number was connected to a damp proofing company that no longer exists.
maybe this is whats happening with you. is this persons number withheld.?? if so call your telephone company and have a block on all withheld numbers,
