That's an interesting question, actually. I'd say false. You could, for instance, ask a friend or acquaintance to slip the recipient some cash. Therefore, you didn't make the bribe directly. And I'm guessing there's probably more complex ways of issuing a bribe that I can't think of off the top of my head.

False, a bribe can be given through someone or thought of by multiple people, (A conspiracy), it can also have multiple recipients.

usually but this is not always the case. usually there is a middleman to do the actual exchange so as not to involve or draw suspicion to either the recipient or donor
