wow! either you have an open relationship with your daughter, or you want to have a say in everything she does. It will happen when it happens, if you talk about it too much you may be sending the wrong type of message to her about her feelings and her sexuality. these are things we can discuss with parents or friends but in the end we have to figure them out for ourselves. She may have already done a full on frenchie and she wants to tell you but she is just feeling out the waters, or she is anticipating a kiss from a certain guy and wants your womanly advice or your motherly approval. either way she needs to determine her own boundaries. i had my first real kiss which turned into a open mouth tongue thing when i was 14 1/2, i have friends who were 12, others who were 16. I think the best thing for you is not to have an overanalytical discussion about kissing. do you know how long your kisses are? are you timing them? I kknow im personally distarcted and caught up in the moment. Basically mom, i know its hard but she is going to grow up before you know it and you might have to start thinking about backing up a bit. unless yo uplan on following her on her dates, the you just need to save up for a good pair of binoculars.

the parents are setting a time limit on kisses? how old is the child?
my first (childhood peck) kiss was in 2nd grade. then (late bloomer that I was) had my first honest to goodness kiss-kiss when I was 16 at a party from Joe, the cutest boy I had ever seen - at least up until that point ;)

A you going to time them, or sellotape their lips together? Not realistic.

i think that u should let your daughter do whatever she wants and kiss however she likes, imean, how would that harm her, it would only help her to become more social.............parents theese days
